From the very beginning, God created humanity with the ability to choose. In Genesis 2:16-17, He gave Adam and Eve a command, along with the freedom to obey or disobey. Their choice led to sin entering the world—not because God willed it, but because they exercised their free will apart from His wisdom. This pattern has continued throughout history.
A helpful analogy is that of a pilot navigating an airplane. The pilot is responsible for guiding the plane to its destination, ensuring that everything functions as it should. However, the passengers are free to behave as they choose during the flight. Some may rest, read, or enjoy the journey, while others may act recklessly. The pilot does not dictate their actions, yet he remains in control of the plane’s course.
Similarly, God is leading history toward His ultimate purpose, but He does not force anyone to follow His guidance. He provides instruction, wisdom, and the opportunity for salvation, yet people must decide whether to
