God’s Sovereignty — An Unquestionable Truth

Consider ~ Psalms 103:19 | Isaiah 46:9-10 | Romans 8:28.

Before exploring the human role in God’s plan, it is vital to establish one truth: God’s sovereignty is absolute. Unlike earthly rulers, who derive their power from laws or people, God’s authority is inherent. He was never created, nor does He depend on anything outside Himself to maintain control over the universe. Scripture is clear:

“The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all.” —Psalm 103:19

“I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning.” —Isaiah 46:9-10

God is not a passive observer of creation. He actively governs the world, ensuring that His purposes are ultimately fulfilled. However, His rule does not mean that every event reflects His desire or character. Instead, much of what happens in the world results from human decisions—both good and bad.
